About Us

picture01My name is Karen Goodman and I am the Proprietor and Manager of Mini Moo’s Preschool based in St Leonards on Sea.

As well as being a mum of three, I have been working with children since 1994. My husband Rod and I were inspired to open our own Preschool from home back in 2006 and so with a garage/utility room and extension this became a reality when we opened our doors for the first time on the 3rd of December 2007.

Our preschool offers both Full Time and Sessional care for Children aged 2 to 5 years. We are registered for a maximum of 12 children per session.

  • 2 to 3 Years Old – 4 Children
  • 3 to 5 Years Old – 8 Children

Our Preschool has a very welcoming atmosphere, with all our facilities are located on one level. We have a secure outdoor play area, with grass like carpet and decking for safe play.

The Staff at Mini Moo’s Preschool are carefully selected and all verified through CRB (Criminal Record Bureau) checks.

All staff hold a Level 3 qualification or are working towards this qualification. In addition to this, we may enlist the help of students who are attending college and are working towards these qualifications.

We value professional development amongst the staff which begins with a thorough induction programme. Staff are offered relevant courses when they become available, which will complement and enhance their knowledge and qualifications.

All members of staff are required to train in Paediatric First Aid and Food Safety.

general-purposeMini Moo’s Preschool Uniform

We would like all children to wear uniform which can be ordered through Preschool.

Your child will be allocated a personalised peg in the cloakroom for hanging coats.

Please label all of your child’s clothing with their name to avoid any misunderstanding.

Please note that here at Mini Moo’s we love messy play and although we provide aprons for the children to wear to protect clothing there may still be the occasional accident.

Can you please provide a change of clothes for your child in case of spillages or accidents.
